You may have already seen a few photographs of this amazing event in our newsletter.

Year 5 worked for a period of six weeks with Alice in the art room to produce wearable fashion out of trash! (See our previous post for pictures of them working on their creations.)

The purpose of their project was to highlight the importance of re-purposing and re-cycling materials and they set out to do this in a fun and memorable way.

They were inspired by fashion designers such as Vivian Westwood who produce their clothing with a ‘green’ conscience.

I’m sure all that saw the show will agree that is was a very up-beat and professional event. Well done year 5!
