In Year 1 we have been thinking about the reasons why different people are celebrating at this time of the year.

We thought about the Christian and Catholic religions and talked about their beliefs. We found out about Jesus and the Christmas story and decided to act it out!

Volunteering to take on different characters as the story evolved, the children showed great imagination, confidence and empathy when thinking about how to recreate the parts of the story.
