Year 1 had a lot of discussion during Anti-Bullying Week, wrote some speech bubbles and watched Jill’s assembly based on ‘This is Our House’ by Michael Rosen. We also  had time to make friendship bracelets, watch a video called ‘It Shouldn’t Happen’ and carry out a lovely activity recommended by Mandy called ‘Same on the Inside’. Everyone had a small potato and drew a face for it. Of course all the faces were different. Then when we looked at the inside of two potatoes, they were the same! We agreed that we all have feelings that be hurt when others don’t do the right thing.
