Year 1 were lucky enough to have an ‘Autumn Workshop’ this week at Cecil Sharp House. They had an introduction which included an explanation of why leaves fall in autumn and what happens to them when they fall onto the soil.

The children then tidied up the garden by picking up lots of leaves and this was followed by a lovely art session and some seed planting. Behaviour was exemplary, fun was had by all and we learned a lot. Many thanks to Susannah at Cecil Sharp House for all her hard work.
