Last week, Y5 were invited to visit Haverstock to take part in a Design and Technology workshop, as well as a creative writing workshop! In the first one, we studied how laser cutting works and made our own spinning tops, using saws, drills and colours to make beautiful and working tops. In creative writing, we invented a secret place and an unusual character, thinking about the different environmental influences around them. Our plans are being made into stories by the wonderful Haverstock team and, hopefully, will be published! We can’t wait to read them.
