As part of their STEM project, Year 2 have been investigating what shape to use when making a boat. After researching different boats, the children were inspired by galleons, lifeboats, canoes, canal boats and other boat styles to create their own.
It all began with a ball of plasticine… After it sunk, we pondered the question: how can we make it float?
The children then competed with each other to try and create boats which hold the most coins. Watch this space to hear how our STEM learning journey continues…
