Year 5 have been exploring crytography – the science of keeping information secret! We experimented with 3 different codes: semaphore (a system of communication using 2 flags), morse code and Caesar cipher. Deciphering and enciphering messages in code was a pretty tricky business, but year 5 demonstrated an impressive amount of resilience and determination and had a lot of fun!
