Year 1 have been reading Where the wild things are for English. Last week the children used the illustrations make predictions about the story, they then  created their own fantasy settings and used noun phrases to describe their settings.

This week the children have been analysing the story more closely. They started the week by using drama to explore Max’s actions; using facial expressions and body language to communicate his feelings at different points in the story.
