We’ve been doing some Drama in Year 2 to help us imagine what it would be like for a baby bear on a melting ice cap. We used what we’ve learnt about climate change and its effects on the world to think about ice melting in the North Pole. As the ice caps got smaller, we got more frightened and in the end there was only enough space for one of us and our Mother bear had to leave us all alone.

We then wrote some fabulous stories all about it for big writing and got to choose how the story ended.
