We had heard that a mysterious shed had appeared in the top hall. The plot thickened when a letter appeared at the back of our Handa’s Surprise book, from Handa HERSELF.

She left a trail of leaves for us to follow from EYFS all the way to the top of the school where she was waiting in the shed for us. We couldn’t believe it. We sang her some songs and she gave us all of the delicious fruits that she had intended to give to her friend Akeyo.

We tried them all, many of us trying passion fruit and guava for the very first time. The Tadpoles got stuck straight into their tangerines, even peeling them by themselves.
