Year two have been working with Alice, designing and making pictures in line using split pins and knitting yarn. They began by making geometric drawings using rulers and gridded paper and later used these designs as a guide whilst working with the knitting yarn.

As you can see from these photographs, they worked in pairs and small groups, placing their pictures side by side on the same piece of board and having to flip regularly from front to back.  This required great team-work, which they managed admirably.

The finished works are soon to be on permanent display in a prominent position in the school building. Watch this space! Well done year 2!
