Year 4 have spent the term learning about reversible and irreversible changes, focusing on how to keep things cold, warm or at room temperature.
Our STEM project involved us carrying out experiments based on keeping an ice cube from melting and measuring temperature. We then input our data onto Google Sheets and we are now planning, designing and making an insulator to keep a drink cold and/or hot.
We began our D&T learning by designing our holders and then we practiced our sewing skills. Here we are practicing overcast and running stitch…
Watch this space for our final insulators!
