We’ve had a cracking week in Year 2. We can’t get to the beach yet, so we brought the beach to the classroom! There were even live crabs and some slimy fish! We went for a walk on the sand and splashed around in water and looked at the light reflecting in it. We had lots of discussions about all the different beach materials and lots of fun exploring our 5 senses.

We wonder if we’ll see a crab as big as that when we go to the seaside for real!
