Some members of School Council visited Camden Town Hall and participated in Camden’s School Council Debate last week.

Over the Summer Term, all the members of School Council helped plan and create a debate on the importance of ensuring staff in all schools promote the love and enjoyment of reading.

When the children arrived at the Town Hall, they got to meet Camden’s Mayor, Nadia Shah, and visit her office. They also heard debates from other schools and were able to present their own ideas and opinions and vote on which side they agreed with.

The children proudly presented Primrose Hill and were extremely articulate when expressing their opinions!
