To kick start our Dinosaur topic, Ladybirds visited the Natural History Museum. We loved learning about all the different dinosaurs. A highlight was definitely seeing the moving replica of a Tyrannosaurus! We learnt about how the dinosaurs were made extinct by a massive comet or asteroid which caused lots of earthquakes and volcanoes to erupt. We even got to feel what a real earthquake is like through a special simulator. We had some exhausted but very happy and inspired children at the end of day!
