We’ve been investigating place value in Year 2 and thinking about what each digit means. We’ve been using tens and units to really understand what numbers are made up of.

This is something we could do at home with our adults too. Pick a number… How many tens are there? How many units? Maybe it could even be a number that has hundreds, or THOUSANDS in it!!
