For Everybody Writes, Year 3 have used the beautiful and poetic adventure pop-up book One Moonlit Night as inspiration to write short stories. The children explored the story and engage with the language of the text through print making. The mono-prints were then used to create the background for their own 3D paper boat of dreams. The children then wrote their story stories based on the opening and build up. Later in the week the children got an opportunity to feedback and share their stories with partners and the class. Here are some pictures of the art process and the children sharing their stories.
