We are very excited to be at the start of a journey, exploring a new class text but we don’t know what its title is or who the author and illustrator are! We cannot see the front cover or the back cover and we cannot even read the blurb to find out a little bit about it!

Instead we are exploring the story one line of text and one illustration at a time and really thing about what each part could mean and what might happen next. We’ve been asking questions about things that puzzle us and can’t wait to find out more about the character.

We only truly know one fact: his name is Noi… but who exactly is he?
