Year 6 have been learning about angles- drawing and measuring using a protractor and solving mathematical problems involving angles and shapes.
Here are the children trying to find out how many degrees there are in different triangles- equilateral, isosceles, right angle and scalene.
We proved that all the angles in any triangle add up to 180 degrees. We then solved mathematical problems involving algebra and calculating the missing angles in triangles, on a straight line and around a point.
