Hedgehogs learnt about the proportions of the face in Art with Alice. They then applied this to drawing their friends and adding details and textures that would show a likeness to the person they drew. They learnt to trust the guidelines and their own powers of observation, rather than what they thought a face looked like. For example, a common learning mistake it to picture the eyes towards the top of the head instead of exactly half way down. All the other features rest in bottom half of the face under the middle point.
They were really pleased with their efforts, and so was Alice. Have a look at their work in progress!
