Children in Nursery have been having some real fun with our topic ‘plants and growth’. This week saw us visit the Camden Garden Centre with an array of wonderful parent helpers. We met Peter, the greeter, there and explored all sorts of wonderful plants and flowers. The trip inspired us to make new things for our own role play garden centre in class. Once back, we drew maps of our journey and drew and wrote about what we saw.

Our grass caterpillars are now super hairy and our sunflowers are beginning to grow too. The children are really enjoying taking care of all the plants in Nursery and water them with great care and excitement every day.
