Year 3 have started learning all about Ancient Egypt for our history topic this half term. We were very excited to discover that there was an Egyptian tomb in our own classroom! We had to perform the role of archaeologists and explore the tomb, looking for artefacts and recording what we could see. It was important to be very careful so that we didn’t damage any of the delicate objects. We are going to use the artefacts we found to help us learn more about Ancient Egypt this term.
