Today started disastrously in Nursery. After cycling to school, Richard realised he’d forgotten his shoes – oh no! Stefania came to the rescue, finding Richard’s wellington boots in the cupboard and then a plan was formed. Painty wellies!
The children, and a couple of special guests, put on wellington boots, chose a paint colour and then stomped, hopped, jumped and ran along the paper on the floor, mixing colours and creating fabulous patterns. Not only was it a wonderful physical workout but we also used lots of interesting language whilst stepping in the paint. We squelched, squerched, sploshed, splashed and squirmed until the paint ran out. What a lot of fun.
