Year 5 have been loving our English text for this term, ‘The Last Wild’ by Piers Torday. We have taken part in some great drama activities over the last few weeks in order to immerse ourselves in the story and put ourselves in the shoes of the characters. Last week, we created scenes to represent one of the events in the book in order to explore the characters and events. Today, we created a conscience alley to help the main character Kester to decide whether to stay in the orphanage, Spectrum Hall, or escape and face the dangers of the outside world. We are excited to read the children’s decisions in their Big Writing tomorrow!
