This half term our science unit has been on light. Squirrels decided to go down to the playground and observe how shadows are formed.  When light from the light source is blocked by a solid object a shadow is formed. The children discussed where the light source came from based on the direction of the shadows and made predictions  of where the shadows would be the following morning, explaining why they thought this would happen.
