Kestrels really enjoyed exploring how waves cause erosion by experimenting with sand and water. They created a wave action by gently dipping a board in out of a tray of water. Gradually, over a few minutes, the waves eroded the sandy beach at one end of the tray, clearly showing how erosion takes place.
