In year 4 we have started an exciting project to learn how to play the fife.  We are starting with the recorder and already know 4 notes.

We have already Learned to play a few notes.  Here you can see us working with a group of teachers who came to visit. e had some visitors who helped us.

The tricky bit was how to hold the recorder so we covered all the notes with our fingers.  Then we had to control our breathing so the recorder did not scream in protest.  It is getting better and better.   Practice it seems does make perfect., (well, nearly!)
