Just before the Christmas holiday, Y2 spent a week investigation and then making their own bread rolls.
We first tried a variety of seeded rolls and rated them out of 10. Next we got to make our own bread rolls from scratch adding the seeds of our choice. We had to measure out and mix the ingredients carefully, then knead the dough to add air. Once the mixture had set and risen, we rolled the dough into smaller balls, added the seeds and then baked them in the oven.
We even got to eat the rolls at our class party the next day – yum!
