This years theme is ‘unsung heroes’.  Robin introduced this during assembly and talked about some key figures who are not normally talked about as key black influences.  The children had lots to say about what an unsung hero was.  The examples illustrated resonate with us as a London community alongside many of our families who have come to the UK for a better life.  One of the examples, Beryl Gilroy was even a Deputy Head Teacher in a Camden School!
