Just like every other year group in the school, we are taking part in a whole school art project that will celebrate the wonderful place that is Primrose Hill and all of the fabulous people that live and have lived here!
On Monday, we found out that our ‘fabulous person’ is Jamie Oliver who is famous for his work with schools and the way in which he changed school dinners for everyone.
First we looked at some healthy lunches using iPads before designing our own healthy lunches.
Next we made lots of salt dough using 10 cups of salt, 20 cups of flour and 10 cups of water.
Finally we used the dough to make our healthy food plates, using tools to achieve the textures and effects we could see on the food. We then put our creations in the oven…
Now we have to paint it!
