This week was a very special week because it was Religious Education week! For year 5 this meant leaning more about Islam and a very special visitor came to tell us lots about the second most popular religion in the world. Sh Kibuka held an assembly in which he told us about the Five pillars and how they stand central within the religion. He also spoke about one of the pillars in more detail, explaining that Hajj was a very important pilgrimage to the House of Allah in Makkah and it is one of the obligatory duties for Muslims.
Today in achievement assembly 4 children shared what they learnt with the rest of the school. Have a look at the poster they made.
