Reception have had lots of fun learning about 2D and 3D shapes. They worked as a team to become 2D shape experts and to build rectangles, squares, triangles, hexagons and octagons out of lollypop sticks. Next they planned a 3D shape party for Niamh’s birthday. We had cone party hats, played games with the cube dice we made, drank from our decorated cylinder cups and even ate sphere shaped fruit and flapjack cubes! The best part was throwing a few shapes on the dance floor to our favourite 3D shape song!
