There was a great turnout today for our parents’ maths workshop. There were a selection of activities involving ‘Using and applying’ maths skills including addition, weight, height, time and money. An activity to promote fine motor skills involved using tweezers to pick up and manoeuvre lentils, beans, corn and other small grains to form numbers. The children were thrilled to have their parents in the classroom to take part this morning, so many thanks to all who were able to attend.
