All of Year 4 were lucky enough to go on a class trip to see well known poet and story teller Kit Wright live!!  It was an amazing experience to listen to him read some of his poetry and explain how he came up with some of his ideas.  We even got to meet him and got a signed copy of 2 of his books for our classroom!  I think we all gained a much deeper understanding of poetry and what it is like inside the mind of a magnificent poet that day!
