Remember to bring your homework on Thursday

Reading:

 You should be reading for 20 minutes every day. Keep a reading log at the back of your book. Write the title of the book, the author the date you started and the date you finished. 

English:

How many words can you find that have endings that sound like “shul” e.g.: official, special, artificial, partial, confidential, essential

Project:

Nepal and Chile are in the News at the moment.  What can you find out about one of those countries?  What is the climate like there? How is the country different to where we live? What food do they grow there? What were the cities like? What languages do the people speak? What are schools like?

Maths:

Can you put the numbers 1 to 8 so that each column or row adds up to the number in the middle? Is there more than one way to do it?  Try other numbers in the middle square.
