The wolf from the story of The 3 Little Pigs claims he has been made to look bad and truth of what went on has been covered up. Watch the VIDEO to decide for your self.
We are going to be having a look another look at traditional tales, as we think there may be more than one story that we haven’t heard the real truth about. For example did Mr wolf REALLY dress up Grandma and try to eat Red Riding Hood? Or is there a perfectly innocent explanation? What could the real truth behind the story be?
Can you write Red Riding Hood from the wolf’s point of view? Is there another side to the story that shows the wolf was innocent all the time and someone was trying to make him look bad? Perhaps the wood-cutter, or maybe Grandma? After all she sounds a bit lazy, just lying around in bed all day.
Once you have written your version from the wolf’s point of view, practise telling the story aloud with voices for each character and then ask to perform your story in class.
