This week in Froglets we have been celebrating all of our wonderful cultures and diversity for Black History Month by taking part in lots of different activities.
We read and acted out the story of Handa’s Surprise by Eileen Browne. We had so much fun sequencing the story, looking at the patterns on the animals and using our senses to smell the exotic fruits. We then chopped them up and shared them at snack time. They were so yummy!
We made our own African necklaces – look at how amazing they are.. And we also learnt the song Che Che Kule and sang along, while playing different musical instruments.
