It was RE day on Monday and we were learning about prayer and rituals in Christianity. To start off the day we explored what prayer is. We decided it was a bit like talking to someone or something. We went to the garden and practised talking to nature. We thought about what we wanted to tell nature we were grateful for, and what we love about it. Then we went back to class and wrote these messages down.

Later on in the day with thought about different religions we know, and how people from these religions pray. Then we looked at Christianity (which is our Year 1 focus religion) and learnt that The Lord’s Prayer is an important prayer for Christians.
