It has been a slightly different start to this half term, but we have continued to focus on our topic of Traditional Tales. Each week we have explored a different tale. We have had so much fun, from making porridge with Goldilocks, drawing story maps with the Gingerbread Man and building new bridges for the Three Billy Goats Gruff. We have even been researching which is the best material for the Three Little Pigs to build a new house with.
In phonics, we have been learning a new sound everyday with Maria over zoom. We are really pleased that lots of you have been joining us for this and super impressed with your sentences that you have been writing.
In maths, we have been looking at number bonds and all the different ways to make 6, 7, 8, 9 and now 10. We have been playing lots of exciting games using different objects in our homes, and we have even been writing number sentences!
On Friday’s, we have been making our own play dough as we have started having a live Dough Disco on zoom. It has been so much fun moving and stretching our muscles in our arms and hands, and the grown ups have enjoyed it as well!
Lockdown hasn’t stopped the Ladybirds! We have been so proud of all the fabulous, hard work that you have been doing!
