In Year 1 we’ve been learning to do leaf rubbings. We found that the newer, fresher leaves were much better to rub because their veins came up really cleary. We worked out that the older, brown leavess had lost lots of water and that’s why we couldn’t really see the veins.

We created some fabulous works of art! We hope one day this year our adults will be able to come into the classroom to see them. Our fingers are crossed.
