School opens as normal for Y1-Y6 on Monday 7th September. Please refresh yourselves with the information in the letter sent home earlier this week. This includes each year groups start and finish times. A link is below.
Our risk assessment for the term is also available on the news page for you to look at if you wish.
Facemasks – National guidance remains that facemasks should be worn for children over 12. On the basis of current evidence, in light of the mitigating measures education settings are taking, and the negative impact on communication, face coverings will not be generally necessary in the classroom. That said, if parents or carers wish for their child to use a face covering, we have no objection, though we would expect parents and carers to educate their children about how to put these on, keep them safely stored when not needed, wash hands etc. The children would need to be responsible for remembering to wear the mask themselves. It would not be checked by any adult.
We would like to invite you to Parent & Carer Welcome Session with Robin & Mireille via zoom on Mon Sept 7th at 02:00. This will be an opportunity to ‘say hello’ to you and explain all about what is going to happening as we start a new academic year.
