Year 1 have been so busy at home continuing with their learning. The staff team have been so impressed with all the children’s efforts and of course their families who have been wonderful.

This term our topic has been ‘Pirates’ and we have done so much. We designed and built our own pirate ships and we made a treasure map using tea stained paper. We have written pirate stories and learned all about famous pirates. In maths we have learned how to multiply and divide (pirate treasure!) and we are learning about coding in computing which helps to get you round a treasure map!

Well done to all of the children in Year 1 and to their grownups…we miss you.
