After thinking about the tiger’s habitat in Henri Rousseau’s Surprise!, Year 2 decided to go and explore our own habitats. We started on the canal and then headed to Regent’s Park, observing which animals and plants were around. We explored micro-habitats and examined brick walls, under logs and in flowerbeds for living things. We found a whole variety of animals and plants including dogs, worms, woodlice, holly and English Plane Trees. When we came back to school and wrote a big list of what we’d found!
