At the start of curiosity week, the Bats were unfortunately shipwrecked on a mysterious, undiscovered island. We have spent the week learning all about how to survive on our mystery island, including how to make a compass from a needle and a magnet, how to purify water to drink and how to build a shelter to protect us from the weather. We took a trip to the park to put all of our new survival skills into practice. We also took on an orienteering challenge in school to find out a mystery word. Throughout the week, we have written a diary about our experiences – come and read through our explorers’ notebooks to find out all about what we’ve been doing!
