Our Year 6 School Councillors went to the Crowndale Centre last week to do some training on what it means to run an School Council. They learn about how to chair meetings and work fairly with all the age-groups in the Council. They worked on how to generate ideas in order to be succesful at improving their school. They came back to school and got straight to work; creating a buddy system to look after the KS1 members during meetings and setting up a Goggle Classroom so they can communicate outside of meetings.
They are looking forward to their year ahead. They are currently working on a new anti-bullying policy which they are very excited about. Watch this space.
