On Friday, a group of 4 mathematicians from Year 6 attended the Camden Primary Maths Challenge. The day is jam – packed full of extremely demanding maths challenges and is all about working as a team to complete the rounds in very tight time frames.
Thirteen schools entered the grueling six – round contest and our mathematicians worked tirelessly throughout. At the end of the day, we were absolutely delighted to come 3rd place and were very proud to receive our rosettes.
More than anything, Laura was extremely proud of how the children conducted themselves throughout the day – their team work and support of each other was noted by many other teachers from Camden. Well done team!
