In Year 1 we have been learning all about time. We have explored the features of an analogue clock and have been learning to read o’clock and half past times.

We have also been looking at how the hands move. We noticed that Mummy Minute Hand has to go all the way around the clock in an hour and the baby hand, Harry Hour Hand, only has to move to the next number!

We have been practicing moving hands around actual clocks and then decided to go into the playground and make our own clock, with one team representing the Mummy Minute Hand  and the other team acting as Harry Hour Hand!
