We were absolutely delighted to be joined by so many of our parents for the Year 1 maths morning and so proud of the children who displayed their increased mathematical fluency and reasoning skills to explore a range of games and activities.

Children used their knowledge of money to role play shopping games, their knowledge of shapes to play shape bingo, their addition and subtraction skills to play a variety of dice games, their knowledge of time to match analogue clocks to the correct time and displayed their confidence in place value to sequence numbers to 50.

All children took home copies of the dice games played and we hope that they provide fun for all the family over the half term!
