Have you ever wondered how tall the school is? That’s exactly the question asked by one of our inquisitive Reception children today. We hung a rope from 3P’s class (halfway up the school building) until it reached the playground below. We then laid the rope along the playground, used a metre ruler to measure it, then finally we doubled the number to find out that the school is roughly 18. 62 metres tall. Using some eager volunteers we found out that the height of the school is roughly the same as 19 children laying end to end! Wow. A terrific afternoon spent answering a very interesting question.
